Role Summary

As a Home Care Assistant in Batley, you will play a vital role in supporting adults and elderly clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. You will follow a dedicated local route providing person-centered personal, domestic, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care & Support: Assisting with morning and bedtime routines, personal hygiene, washing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Medication Administration: Prompting and administering medication accurately in line with care plans and MAR charts.
  • Meal Preparation: Preparing hot drinks, nutritious light meals, and encouraging proper hydration during Lunch and Tea visits.
  • Domestic Support & Companionship: Helping with light housekeeping duties, shopping trips, and providing friendly, patient companionship.
  • Care Recording: Keeping clear, accurate visit logs via our digital mobile care app and reporting changes in client well-being to office supervisors.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Reliability & Compassion: Patient, empathetic, and committed to maintaining high standards of care and dignity.
  • Driver Preferred: Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (Local walking routes considered depending on your exact postcode).
  • Communication: Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience: Previous home care experience is welcome, but not essential—we welcome passionate individuals looking to start a rewarding career in adult social care.
  • Compliance: Subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory professional references.
